How Drugs Work: Cannabis

This series uses visual effects and CGI and, for the first time ever, takes the viewer on an entire trip from start to finish inside the human body. With testimony from people who enjoy using the drug and those who have become addicted, the programme reveals how cannabis takes over the inner workings of the brain, creating mind-warping and heart-racing effects.

Really? Hallucinations? This has got to be some kind of joke. and Psychosis…if they have a genetic deal that makes them vulnerable to it, they’re gonna get it whether they smoke weed or not. I agree with whoever said that addict was probably an actor, even an amateur smoker would know to clear his bong. This whole video is a bit outdated and ridiculous. I’ve never experienced a single thing this video talks about other than that of Imogen, who is completely correct. She’s happy. If you get anxious or paranoid while high, that’s just your own reaction based on your personality, so don’t smoke it.

There’s not a dab of tar in marijuana, there is however in a cigarette, but not in marijuana. If they had split open a cigarette and pulled shit from there, maybe they may have inhaled tar, but not from straight marijuana. Propaganda doesn’t work against the knowing, nor the intelligent.

okay so it has been shown that Marijuana doesn’t do anything harmful to your lungs. All the stuff they’ve been smoking is more tobacco then marijuana itself.

one thing i have to point out i think that addict was a actor because if he really has been smoking for such a long time for so much. you would think he would know how to clear his own peace.. when he smokes his last bowl he takes the hit and sets it down leaving the smoke and never clearing it. no true smoker would do that. and yes the research done was extremely biased. this is just something used to scare people and make a negative look on weed.. watch “the union business of getting high”.. it will answer all the lies and then some in that real research documentary

and also i love how every single thing they compared it to cocaine and heroin that in itself is a biased way and implants it in there had that this substance is just as bad as thos.. that’s just like comparing sun light to a nuclear power plant.. and explain how sun light is a leading cause in skin cancer. and can cause fainting much like the effects witnessed from workers who are around radiation plants for to long… its the same shit.. you people can turn a unicorn into a terrifying beast .. find a new carrier before there is only ignorance, greed and manipulation left.. and yes im high as hell right now and i will remember this for a long time.. guess im to lazy and in coherent to be typing this right now. well according to your research

The lady at the beginning seems more like a heroin addict than a cannabis user.

first of all skunk is far from the strongest kind of weed, and it has also been proven that weed today is no stronger than weed in the past. and where are all the positive stories about weed?

After I blaze, I feel exactly like I did on antidepressants in the past. Thats crazy, and I believe there should be lots of research on this topic.

I’ve been smoking cannabis for over 10 years. It does affect your memory while under the influence. At times I’ll take a 2 week break to reduce tolerance. To be honest it has not affected my goals in life and am very successful in my career and choice of study. This is not the case for every person. When there are predisposed conditions a person’s reactions can vary, sometimes negatively. My high school valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA was a daily smoker who also was a star soccer player. Then there are those who do nothing every day and just sit there. Then those who already hear voices could be worse off after consuming cannabis. It’s really all about personal responsibility.

If you do something everyday for 15 years it doesn’t matter if its weed or something like watching tv, it’s going to be hard to stop. That guy obviously only believed it was bad because his girlfriend convinced him that it was.

I have a few problems with your movie the medical information is not updated and accurate they have proven many times that the CB chemicals insulate against heart attacks because of the stress reducing factor it not to mention the fact that there are 33 known carcinogens in marijuana and the THC nullifies all of them. The problem with your experimentation is that it isn’t the effects of marijuana it is of just THC because the test vaporized removing the very beneficial CB chemicals weed has been to treat a vast variety of medical conditions with positive results and no side effects like modern medicine. You are making mountains out of mole hills it is not addictive she explained it perfect if it makes you happy. Your argument about addiction applies for these peoples personalities not the drug they choose to abuse it is an unfair and bias prediction and shady underhanded misinformation. For shame your shoddy journalism is not true your using ignorant people who use the drug as a scapegoat for real problems with an addictive personality.

One thing they don’t emphasize on is these are spliffs they’re smoking, a mix of Marijuana and TOBACCO. The majority of these negative effects they speak of are because of the nicotine and tobacco. More propaganda.
